Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Animetattoos.com ("we," "us," "our"), operated by Animetattoos LLC. These Terms apply to two groups, and we've written them so each group can find what applies to them:

Fans and visitors ("Clients" or "Users") — people browsing the directory, submitting tattoo inquiries, or booking appointments with artists.

Tattoo artists ("Artists") — people applying for free directory profiles or joining our paid booking program.

By using the site, submitting an inquiry, or applying for a profile, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

We offer two distinct services. It's important to understand which one applies to you:

1. The Free Artist Directory

A curated directory where fans discover anime, video game, and pop culture tattoo artists. Free profiles display the artist's bio, location, portfolio images, and a link to their Instagram. Free profiles collect no information from visitors. Clients who want to book an artist contact that artist directly through Instagram. We are not a party to any conversation or transaction between a client and an artist through the free directory.

Important: Inclusion in the free directory is not guaranteed. Applications are reviewed by hand, and we accept artists whose work fits the directory's quality standards. Submitting an application does not create any right to a profile.

2. The Paid Booking Program

An optional, done-for-you booking service for artists. The program includes ad creation and management, a custom landing page, inquiry handling, follow-up, appointment setting, and rescheduling support.

Important: Participation in the paid booking program is not guaranteed to any applicant, regardless of ability to pay. Every artist goes through a fit conversation before acceptance. We review portfolios because we are the ones advertising the artist's work, and we speak with every applicant because we work closely with each partnered artist. We reserve the right to decline any applicant for any reason, and to recommend alternative services when we believe they would serve the applicant better.

For Clients: Bookings, Deposits, and Appointments

Deposits

When you reserve an appointment with a partnered artist, a deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits vary between artists and are communicated prior to payment. The deposit secures your time slot with the artist.

Deposit Policy

Deposits are applied toward the cost of your tattoo. Deposit refund terms are outlined in our booking policy.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Appointment rescheduling is handled by our booking team. All policies regarding reschedules and cancellations can be found in our booking policy.

Sponsorship Credit

Some projects may qualify for sponsorship credit — a better rate offered by the artist on projects they're excited to tattoo. Sponsorship credit is offered at the artist's discretion. The artist sets their own rates, and the final decision on pricing always lies with the artist. Sponsorship credit availability is not guaranteed for any project.

What We Are and Are Not Responsible For

We manage the booking process: inquiries, communication, scheduling, and deposits. We are not the tattoo artist. The tattoo itself — its design execution, quality, safety, and your satisfaction with the finished work — is the responsibility of the artist you book with.

We do not guarantee any specific artistic outcome. We do guarantee the booking process: if you book through us, you will have a scheduled appointment with the artist you chose.

For Artists: Profiles and the Booking Program

Free Profiles

Artists retain full ownership of their artwork. By submitting an application, you grant Animetattoos.com a license to display the images and information you provide on your profile page.

You may request removal of your profile at any time by contacting cinda@animetattoos.com. We will remove it within 30 days.

You represent that the work you submit is your own and that you have the right to display it.

Free profiles collect no information from visitors. Clients contact you directly through Instagram. We are not a party to those conversations and take no commission from them.

The Paid Booking Program

The program requires a one-time setup investment of $3,600. Full program terms, including the guarantee and its conditions, are provided in a separate written agreement before you sign anything. These Terms do not replace that agreement — the signed program agreement governs the specifics of your participation.

The program guarantee (15 booked appointments in your first 45 days after launch, or your money back) is subject to the conditions stated in your program agreement, including maintaining the agreed ad budget and following the established process.

After the setup investment, we work on a performance basis: we are paid only when we book you appointments, through deposits on booked appointments.

Artists set their own rates. We may make pricing recommendations based on market data, but the final decision on your rates always lies with you.

Artist Conduct

Artists using the platform agree to:

Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients

Honor booked appointments or provide reasonable rescheduling through our team

Maintain the accuracy of their profile information

Not use the platform to harass, defraud, or mislead anyone

We may remove an artist's profile or terminate a partnership for violations of these standards.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Animetattoos.com to:

Harass, threaten, defraud, or mislead anyone

Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any artist or business

Submit false, misleading, or spam inquiries

Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the site by automated means

Infringe on the intellectual property rights of artists or of Animetattoos.com

Use artist information obtained through the platform for any purpose outside of booking a tattoo with that artist

Violate any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these standards.

Intellectual Property

Artist artwork: Artists retain full ownership of their artwork. By submitting work to the platform, you grant Animetattoos.com a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and use that content in connection with the site and its services. This license ends when your profile is removed, except for content already used in past promotional materials.

Site content: All other content on the site — text, design, branding, features — is owned by Animetattoos LLC and may not be copied or used without permission.

Disclaimers

The site and its services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We make no warranties about the artistic outcome of any tattoo. Artistic quality is the responsibility of the artist.

We make no warranties about the accuracy of artist profile information, which is provided by the artists themselves.

We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Animetattoos LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or services is limited to the amount you paid to us in connection with the transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or emotional distress, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall first be addressed by contacting us at cinda@animetattoos.com so we can attempt to resolve it directly. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by the courts of the State of New York.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the site or services for any user or artist who violates these Terms. Artist profiles may be removed for violations without prior notice. Artists in the paid booking program are subject to the termination provisions of their signed program agreement.

You may stop using the site at any time. Artists may request profile removal at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
