Anime Riverside 🔥

Anime Riverside is bringing anime, cosplay, voice actors, vendors, artists, panels, and fan events back to the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California.

This one has a different feel from the giant mega-cons. It still has big guests, packed programming, cosplay contests, meetups, vendors, arcade games, anime karaoke, live music, photo rooms, and more, but it also feels a little more personal. It’s the kind of convention where fans can actually enjoy the weekend without feeling like they’re getting swallowed by the crowd.

And for Code Geass fans, this year is especially crazy.

Jun Fukuyama, the original Japanese voice of Lelouch from Code Geass, is making his first-ever convention appearance at Anime Riverside 2026. He’s also known for Koro-sensei from Assassination Classroom, Ren Amamiya from Persona 5, and King from The Seven Deadly Sins.

So yeah. Lelouch is finally pulling up!!

We gotta make sure he feels at home, because if his first convention experience is full of love, there’s a better chance he does more traveling in the future 👀

What Is Anime Riverside?

Anime Riverside is an anime, pop culture, and cosplay convention held in the Inland Empire. The 2026 event is happening May 30 and May 31, 2026 at the Riverside Convention Center.

The event brings fans together for celebrity guests, vendors, artists, cosplay contests, panels, meetups, anime karaoke, live music, arcade games, photo rooms, itasha cars, giveaways, and more. Their ticket page also says 2026 will have more space as the event returns for its fifth year.
