Jujutsu Kaisen starts with a pretty simple idea. A normal high schooler eats a cursed object, gets dragged into the world of jujutsu sorcerers, and suddenly has to share his body with one of the worst curses in history.

But the further the story goes, the more brutal that world becomes. The fights are built around cursed energy, techniques, domains, and the kind of split-second decisions that can completely change a character’s life. Yuji, Gojo, Geto, Nanami, and Sukuna all bring something different to the series, which is why JJK tattoos can go in so many directions. With a cast this strong and a power system this clean, it’s no wonder fans want to get their favorite characters immortalized on their skin.

Ryomen Sukuna

Artist: Jay Bryant - Tampa Florida

The first time Sukuna really got to show what he could do was during the detention center arc, and that whole scene changed the way Jujutsu Kaisen felt. Up until then, the series had already shown that curses were dangerous, but Sukuna made it obvious that there were levels to this world. When he took over Yuji’s body and started toying with the finger bearer, it did not even feel like a real fight. He was completely in control the whole time. Then once he opened Malevolent Shrine, it became crystal clear that Sukuna was not just another strong curse. He was something way beyond that.

This tattoo captures that side of Sukuna really well. His expression has that calm, disrespectful confidence that makes him so fun to watch, especially when he knows the person in front of him has no chance. The colors and overall energy of the piece help sell how overwhelming that moment felt in the show. If you remember how crazy it was seeing Sukuna flex that hard so early in the series, this tattoo hits that feeling really well.

Gojo and Geto

Artist: Aiden Madrigal - Boston Massachusetts

Gojo and Geto’s past is one of the most important parts of Jujutsu Kaisen because it shows how two people who were once completely in sync could end up on opposite sides. Back then, they were not just strong. They were best friends, the kind who understood each other without needing much explained. But once Riko Amanai’s death and everything around that mission went down, the cracks started to show. Gojo kept moving forward as the strongest, while Geto slowly lost faith in the world they were protecting.

This tattoo shows them in that earlier Hidden Inventory era, back when Gojo and Geto felt like the strongest duo in the room every time they showed up. Gojo is placed above with that calm, almost carefree look, while Geto sits lower with a sharper expression and his curse manipulation shown around him. The vertical layout works really well with the arm because both characters get their own space while still feeling connected.

Nanami

Artist - Esteban Der Atamian - Montreal Canada

Nanami is one of the easiest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen to respect because he feels like a real adult trapped in a horrible job. He already left the sorcerer world once, tried living a normal life, and still came back because he knew younger sorcerers like Yuji needed someone looking out for them. That’s why fans love him so much. He is serious, tired, and practical, but underneath all of that he is genuinely kind. Honestly, if Nanami and Higuruma ever met, they probably would have understood each other right away. Both of them saw how broken the world was, tried to exist outside of it, and still ended up carrying responsibility they never really wanted.

This tattoo captures Nanami in that calm, beaten-down way that fits him perfectly. The glasses, the straight expression, and the hand near his face all give it that quiet pressure he carries. The black ink splatter adds a rougher feel around the clean linework, almost like the chaos of Shibuya catching up to him. It keeps the piece simple and lets Nanami’s expression do most of the work.

Toji Enters the Domain

Artist: William Spinner - Los Angeles California

Toji is one of the most memorable characters in Jujutsu Kaisen because he flips the whole power system on its head. In a world built around cursed energy, Toji has none, but that somehow makes him even more dangerous. His speed, strength, instincts, and complete lack of fear makes problem! Even his death against Gojo says a lot about him, He pushed Gojo to the edge, forced him to evolve, and ended up becoming one of the biggest reasons Gojo reached goat status!

This tattoo shows one of Toji’s coldest entrances, when he breaks into the domain and instantly changes the mood of the fight. The upside-down composition gives the piece a chaotic feel, while the darker shading around his face makes him look locked in and dangerous. The hand placement and sharp black work help sell that sudden arrival, like Toji just dropped into the scene and everyone inside immediately became less safe.

Nobara

Artist: Satoru Ink - Alicante Torrevieja Spain

Nobara is one of the reasons the main trio works so well in Jujutsu Kaisen. Yuji brings the heart, Megumi brings the seriousness, and Nobara brings that sharp confidence that keeps the group from feeling too heavy all the time. Her backstory also makes her stand out because she never feels like she’s trying to escape who she is. She leaves her small town, chooses the life she wants, and carries herself like someone who refuses to be looked down on by anybody.

This tattoo captures Nobara with that same calm confidence. Her expression is soft, but she still has that focused look that fits her character. The light blue around her hammer and hair gives the piece just enough color without taking over the design. The clean linework and simple composition work well here because Nobara does not need a chaotic tattoo to feel strong. Her attitude carries it.
