My tattoos pull from anime, manga, and the worlds of horror and bold art. That mix gives every piece a unique edge — while still staying true to the character you love. The result? A tattoo that gets people crossing the street to compliment you, sparks conversations, and reminds you of why you fell in love with the anime in the first place..

I was drawn to Jay because I love his style of mixing horror themes with anime girls. The piece I got from him is an absolute masterpiece and my new favorite tattoo. His solid design and bold colors show off his hard-earned skills. It was an all-around awesome experience. He made the process smooth and comfortable and I can’t wait to get more work done

Highly recommend working with Jay—he has completed 3 realism pieces for me, with 2+ more in the making. I always leave my appointments LOVING the new work that has been done, with an equal emphasis on him being a pleasure to be around and his level of professionalism. He stands out as an artist because of his dedication to bringing your idea to life—he’s even gone the extra step and read the book of the tattoo I was getting next. He is a true testament to an artist who can cover a variety of styles, and I’m always looking forward to my next piece by him

I had been looking for a while for an artist whose work I loved enough to just let them do their thing and 4 years ago I jumped in with Jay. Turns out, I couldn’t have picked a better artist and human! Not only is the dude wildly talented, but he’s super professional and just an all-around chill guy to work with. Sessions are always a breeze, all of my ink healed beautifully, and I love being a walking billboard for such a genuinely good dude who cares about his clients as much as his art. Will recommend him to anyone, any day

Got a Borderlands-themed tattoo done by Jay Paul (@skin.coffin), and I’m beyond impressed with how it turned out. The design perfectly captures the bold, graphic style of the game while still feeling unique and personal. From the first sketch to the final session, Jay was amazing to work with—super professional, creative, and detail-oriented. I have received so many compliments on the piece. This piece means a lot to me as a fan of the Borderlands series, and I couldn’t be happier that I trusted Jay to bring it to life. If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo, I can’t recommend him enough

Jay’s professional attitude as an artist has always been refreshing. Whenever I bring up an idea or concept there is always a conversation on how to make it work and include the certain small things or details I want to incorporate. I’ve been working with Jay for the past 7 years and there have only been a few times where he’s said no to something I wanted—but his reasoning has always been valid. He then proceeds to create something that can translate to tattoos with my original idea. The passion and creativity he shows always takes me by surprise and I always leave satisfied and looking just a bit cooler than when I showed up.

You don’t need to have every detail figured out before reaching out. If you have a character, series, scene, placement, or even just a rough idea you’ve been sitting on, send it over.
I’m looking through submissions for projects that fit the kind of work I’m excited to create. If yours feels like a good match, my booking team will reach out, talk through the idea with you, and explain everything before you decide to book.

What We Look For
The Kind Of Projects I'm Looking For
The Kind Of Projects I'm Looking For
The Kind Of Projects I'm Looking For
You don't need some perfectly planned out idea! If you have a character, series, scene, or idea you've been wanting tattooed, that may be enough to start. I'm mainly looking for projects that give me a chance to create something unique for you, and make it my own.
Not every idea gets picked and that’s on purpose! We’re not looking for “another cool tattoo”. We’re looking for ideas that mean something to you.
A Character Or Series You're Into
Maybe it's your favorite character, a scene you've always wanted tattooed, or just a series you think would make an insane piece. It doesn't need a complicated backstory.
Something We Can Make Your Own
You don't need to invent something that's never been done before. Bring me the character, references, or rough concept and we can turn it into a tattoo That people cross the street to compliment you for!
Let’s be honest.. You probably don’t want the same tattoo as a thousand other people. Special ideas are the ones that only belong to you.
Room To Get Creative
If you're open to letting me play with the composition, pose, colors, background, or overall direction, those are usually the projects I get most excited about.
An Idea Worth Going In On
I'm especially interested in ideas with enough room to create something that really stands out—whether that's a detailed character piece, a larger concept, or something we can build into an incredible finished tattoo.
